Cookies we set

When you sign in, our authentication provider (Supabase) sets a small session cookie so that the app knows it is you on your next visit and you don’t have to log in on every page. That cookie is strictly necessary for the app to work.

Local storage we do use

To make the app feel fast, your browser also keeps a small cached copy of your profile in local storage. It is just a convenience copy of data already in your account, and it clears when you sign out or clear your browser’s site data for savethesedays.app.

Visitor counting, without a cookie

We count visits to the public pages — the home page, the prompts archive, the matrescence pages, and pages like this one — with Vercel Web Analytics. It is cookieless: it sets nothing in your browser, so the inventory above is unchanged. What it records, in aggregate, is the page visited, where you came from, your country and the kind of device — never a name or an email. It does not record any signed-in page. Nothing about your moments, your recordings or your reflections is ever sent to it.

What we don’t have

There is no Google Analytics, no Meta pixel, and no session recording, heat-mapping, fingerprinting or remarketing. We make a journal; we don’t need to follow you around the internet.

Your choice

The session cookie is necessary. If we ever added a cookie that followed you, a banner would appear before it did.
